CORINTH, NY — Michael J. Schilling, 36, of Corinth, was arrested Friday on charges of animal cruelty after a complaint was filed on September 13.

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to an animal complaint on Angel Road, which led to an investigation revealing Schilling had overdriven, tortured, and injured two dogs. He is also accused of failing to provide proper sustenance and keeping the animals in unsanitary conditions.

Schilling faces a class A misdemeanor for animal cruelty and was released on an appearance ticket pending future court proceedings in Corinth Town Court.

The two dogs were seized under a court order and are now under the care of the Saratoga County Animal Shelter.
