CHEMUNG COUNTY, N.Y. – A 28-year-old New York man, Michael J. Parker of Baldwin, has been arrested as a fugitive from justice for serious drug-related charges in Pennsylvania.
According to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office, Parker was arrested on Monday, September 8, after authorities learned he was wanted in Bradford County, Pennsylvania for manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver.
At the time of discovery, Parker was already in custody at the Chemung County Jail on unrelated charges. Upon confirmation of the Pennsylvania warrant, the Criminal Investigations Division processed his arrest as a fugitive from justice.
Parker now faces extradition proceedings and will remain in Chemung County Jail until his future court appearance related to his transfer back to Pennsylvania.
