Michael Grenier Arrested for Lisbon Home Invasion

Assault, Firearm Theft, and Multiple Charges Filed

LISBON, CT — Michael Grenier, 36, of Enfield, was arrested Sunday evening after breaking into a residence on Kimball Road, assaulting a person inside, and stealing a firearm, according to Connecticut State Police.

Police were dispatched to Kimball Road at 7:23 p.m. after reports of a man walking in the road and yelling at passing vehicles. Upon arrival, troopers learned that Grenier was involved in a violent incident at a nearby home.

Grenier was detained while officers made contact with the victim at the residence. He now faces multiple charges including:

Home invasion

Third-degree robbery

Interfering with an officer or resisting

Three counts of second-degree breach of peace

Disorderly conduct

Stealing a firearm

Third-degree assault of an elderly victim

The investigation is ongoing.
