Michael Collier Arrested for Macy’s Theft in South Windsor

53-year-old charged with larceny after stealing $1,136

SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (WFSB) — A Macy’s employee was arrested for allegedly stealing more than $1,100 in merchandise from a South Windsor distribution center.

Police identified the suspect as 53-year-old Michael Collier of Hartford. Authorities responded to the Macy’s distribution center on Governor’s Highway after reports of stolen merchandise.

Investigators said Collier took $1,136 worth of items and was subsequently taken into custody. He was charged with fourth-degree larceny.

Collier was held on a $7,500 surety bond and given a court date in Manchester.
