WEST PALM BEACH — West Palm Beach police have arrested a woman in connection with an alleged felony grand theft, according to booking records released Tuesday afternoon.

The suspect, Mia Cymone Jackson, was taken into custody by the West Palm Beach Police Department on suspicion of grand theft involving property valued between $750 and $5,000, which qualifies as a felony under Florida law. The arrest is listed under Report No. 364840 and was officially recorded at 3:01 p.m. on December 30, 2025.

At this time, authorities have not disclosed further details regarding the alleged incident, including what property was involved or where the theft occurred. No additional charges have been reported.

Under Florida statutes, theft offenses become classified as grand theft when the value of the property exceeds $750, carrying more serious legal consequences than misdemeanor theft. The case is expected to proceed through the Palm Beach County court system, where prosecutors will review the evidence and determine next steps.

As with all criminal matters, the charges are allegations only. Jackson is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

The Police Report Team of the Boca Raton Tribune stated it will continue monitoring the case and provide updates as new information becomes available.
