Vizianagaram One Town police have arrested two employees of MFCWL, Ratnaji Boora from Rajahmundry and GJ Srinivas from Tamil Nadu, for their alleged involvement in a cybercrime, forgery, and GST fraud scam. The arrests followed a complaint by stockyard operator Karri Ravindra Reddy from Vizianagaram, which led to the exposure of a scheme involving fake email IDs, forged signatures, and counterfeit rubber stamps.

MFCWL, part of the Mahindra Group and operating over 800 vehicle stockyards under its Yard Management Service (YMS), came under scrutiny after a recent GST raid at Shri Sai Pawan Agency in Visakhapatnam heightened suspicion.

Police investigations revealed that Gutti Praveen Kumar, another MFCWL employee, masterminded the forgery plot by creating fraudulent email IDs, stamps, and logos impersonating Ravindra Reddy. This sophisticated scheme resulted in financial fraud worth approximately Rs 1 crore.

FIRs have been registered, and authorities are conducting an extensive investigation to uncover more suspects and assess the scope of the fraud across MFCWL’s nationwide operations. The public has called for a thorough probe and swift arrests of all involved.
