MEMPHIS, TN — Memphis Tigers guard Sincere Parker was arrested over the weekend in connection with a domestic violence incident that allegedly occurred last month, according to ESPN.
Parker, 22, faces charges of simple assault/domestic violence and misdemeanor vandalism after a woman reported to police that he pushed, slapped, and strangled her during an argument at a Memphis apartment complex. The alleged victim said Parker busted her lip, broke her acrylic nails, and damaged her iPhone during the altercation.
The arrest report, obtained by ESPN, details that Parker is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
The University of Memphis issued a brief statement saying it is aware of the situation but cannot comment on an ongoing investigation, according to The Daily Memphian.
Parker transferred to Memphis earlier this year after spending the 2024–25 season at McNeese State, where he was a key contributor for Will Wade’s squad. He averaged 12.2 points per game — second-highest on the team — while shooting 43.7% from the field and 30.1% from three-point range.
Prior to his time at McNeese, Parker played for Saint Louis University and began his college career at Moberly Area Community College in Missouri.
The investigation remains active.
