Melissa Bennett Sentenced to 13 Years for Meth Trafficking

Williamsburg woman convicted on multiple drug charges

WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) – A Williamsburg woman has been sentenced to 13 years in prison for her involvement in methamphetamine trafficking and related charges.

Melissa Bennett, 42, pleaded guilty on June 10 to two counts of trafficking methamphetamine (less than two grams), promoting contraband, and possession of a controlled substance.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred in 2024, according to court records.

Bennett will serve her sentence at a Kentucky Department of Corrections facility.
