Megha Maradolkar Held in Belagavi Online Fraud Case

Work-from-home scam run across Goa and Mumbai

The Belagavi Police have arrested two individuals for their alleged involvement in an online fraud operation targeting unsuspecting citizens.

The accused have been identified as Megha Maradolkar, a resident of Belagavi who was apprehended in Goa, and Hyderali Ghulamali Ujjainwala, who was arrested in Mumbai. According to police officials, the duo was operating an online scam that lured victims with fake “work from home” job offers and fraudulent government loan schemes.

Authorities stated that the accused used these deceptive schemes to cheat people, promising easy income opportunities and financial assistance. Investigations are currently underway to uncover the full extent of the fraud and identify additional victims or accomplices.
