Medak police have arrested two members of a burglary gang, recovering 4.732 kilograms of silver ornaments, 326 US dollars, and other valuables connected to a recent residential theft. The arrests were linked to a burglary reported on June 8 at the home of Kura Shekhar in Medak town.
The burglars also stole a Santro car parked at the residence. After receiving Shekhar’s complaint, police quickly registered a case and initiated a manhunt.
On Tuesday, the accused, Gudala Tilak and Guddu Raju, were apprehended while transporting the stolen goods in an auto-rickshaw. The stolen valuables were recovered during the operation.
Both accused have been produced before the Medak local court and remanded to judicial custody. The prime suspect, identified as Tirumal, remains at large. Additionally, a minor involved in the case has been sent to a juvenile home.
