Hyderabad police have busted a sex racket operating from a hotel in Banjara Hills, with the Commissioner’s Task Force, West Zone team, and Banjara Hills Police conducting the raid.
The operation led to the arrest of the organiser, Md Shareef (36), a businessman and former owner of Style Maker Saloon in Hyderabad. Along with Shareef, seven customers and a hotel receptionist were also apprehended.
Police rescued three women from the racket, including one from Uzbekistan. Investigations revealed that Shareef lured unemployed women with promises of high salaries and commissions, later coercing them into prostitution.
