HOLMEN, Wis. (WEAU) — A 28-year-old man is facing multiple drug and bail-jumping charges after being caught with a large quantity of cocaine during a traffic stop in Holmen early Saturday morning.
Mayking Murillo-Palacios was pulled over around 2 a.m. on June 21, according to a press release from the Holmen Police Department. Officers searched his vehicle and discovered 170 grams of suspected cocaine, which has an estimated street value of $17,000. Police also recovered over $4,500 in cash during the search.
Murillo-Palacios was arrested and charged with:
Possession with intent to deliver cocaine (>40g)
5 felony counts of bail jumping
5 misdemeanor counts of bail jumping
At the time of his arrest, he was already out on 10 separate bonds—five felony and five misdemeanor—stemming from previous charges, including a May 2025 cocaine possession case in Monroe County.
On June 24, Murillo-Palacios was released on a $20,000 signature bond. Authorities say the investigation is ongoing.
