ATLANTA, GA โ Three men have pleaded guilty to a multi-state jewelry store burglary spree, causing losses of $1.3 million, according to the Cherokee County District Attorneyโs Office.
The Convicted Men:
๐น Maykel Olides Hernandez โ 30-year sentence, 13 years in confinement
๐น Javier Guerra-Morales โ 20-year sentence, 9 years in confinement
๐น Giorge Navea โ 25-year sentence, 10 years in confinement
The Crimes:
Locations: Georgia (Cherokee, Forsyth, Cobb, Fulton Counties) & Knox County, TN
Timeframe: December 2022 โ March 2023
Method: The trio cut through roofs to disable alarms, making the thefts appear as false alerts
Charges: Violation of RICO Act, smash and grab burglary, theft, criminal damage, and possession of burglary tools
