The Mangaluru city police have arrested three more individuals in connection with a drug supply case registered at the Central Crime Police Station under Crime No. 31/2025.
The arrested have been identified as:
Mayaram (32), resident of Mohan Padwa village, Barwani district, Madhya Pradesh
Premsingh Ram Pawar (48) and Anil Prakash Koli (35), both residents of Chopda, Jalgaon district, Maharashtra
The case was initially registered on July 2 under Sections 8(c) and 20(b)(ii)(B) of the NDPS Act, after earlier arrests were made based on leads from drug users in the city. Investigators uncovered that narcotics were being supplied to Mangaluru from Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
A special police team was dispatched to both states, resulting in the arrest of the three men. They were produced before court on July 9 and have been remanded to judicial custody.
During the operation, police also seized:
Three mobile phones used in the crime
Rs1,78,920 in cash
The investigation remains active, and police are pursuing additional suspects linked to the broader network.
The operation was carried out by personnel from the Central Crime Police Station and the Mangaluru City Special Team.
