Spartanburg County, S.C. — In a tragic domestic shooting case, 21-year-old Victoria Long, known as Donna Grace, was fatally shot at a home on Vista Circle in April 2022. Her husband, Matthew Long, was charged with murder after she succumbed to her injuries.

During a plea hearing on Wednesday, Matthew Long was sentenced to 42 years in prison for the murder. His parents, Donald and Carolyn Long, were charged with accessory after the fact and obstructing justice after Carolyn falsely reported the shooting as an intruder attack.

Both parents were granted bond but are under GPS monitoring and prohibited from contacting each other. They were sentenced to two years of home detention, followed by two years of probation.
