CAMPBELL CO., Va. – The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday the results of a significant narcotics investigation in the Timberlake area.
Officers, aided by the K9 unit, executed a residential search warrant that uncovered a substantial cache of illegal drugs, cash, and assets. The seizure included:
6 pounds of methamphetamine
1.5 pounds of powder and crack cocaine
21 pounds of marijuana
27 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms
Over $37,000 worth of THC wax
More than $30,000 in U.S. currency
The total street value of the confiscated substances is estimated to exceed $415,000.
Following the operation, 41-year-old Matthew Gardner was arrested and charged with possession with intent to sell methamphetamine, cocaine, and other narcotics; possession with intent to sell over five pounds of marijuana; conspiracy to distribute Schedule I/II narcotics; and possession of illegal drugs.
Gardner is currently held without bond at the Blue Ridge Regional Jail as investigations continue.
