McLean Police District – Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division, with help from the Fugitive Track and Apprehension Unit, have arrested Marcus Robinson, 34, a Maryland resident, for a string of vehicle break-ins and larcenies in McLean.

On January 5, at 5:40 a.m., officers responded to reports of property destruction at the intersection of Westbranch Drive and Westpark Drive. Upon arrival, they found multiple vehicles broken into nearby, with several items stolen. Additional break-ins were reported on surrounding streets.

After a thorough investigation, detectives identified Robinson as the suspect. Maryland State Police executed a search warrant at Robinson’s residence and took him into custody.

Robinson is currently held at Prince George’s County Jail, awaiting extradition to Fairfax County. He will face charges including three counts each of felony credit card theft, credit card fraud, and destruction of property.
