Marvin Hunter Jr. Sentenced to 11 Years in Magoffin Drug Conspiracy

Michigan man convicted of meth and fentanyl distribution conspiracy

MAGOFFIN COUNTY, Ky. – Marvin Hunter Jr., a Michigan resident, was sentenced to 11 years in federal prison for his involvement in a drug conspiracy case in Magoffin County.

Hunter was indicted for conspiring with others to distribute controlled substances, including 500 grams or more of methamphetamine and 40 grams or more of fentanyl.

The conspiracy took place between August 2021 and March 2024, according to court records.

Hunter’s sentence reflects the severity of the drug offenses prosecuted in the region.
