BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. — Two Beaufort men were arrested after a months-long drug investigation led to the seizure of drugs and firearms during search warrants executed on Tuesday.
Marvin Letony Huggins, 38, and Robert L’Antonio Drayton, 45, both of Beaufort, were taken into custody following searches at residences on Sandstone Circle and Poppy Hill Road.
Huggins faces multiple charges including trafficking cocaine, three counts of sale and distribution of cocaine, manufacturing crack cocaine, and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine.
Drayton was charged with trafficking cocaine, sale and distribution of cocaine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, manufacturing crack cocaine, three counts of sale and distribution of crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and marijuana, and possession of a weapon by a felon.
Deputies recovered cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana, firearms, and cash during the searches, according to the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office.
Both men remain in custody as the investigation continues.
