Mark Lunsford Arrested in Plymouth Domestic Incident

Norwich man charged with assault and criminal mischief

PLYMOUTH, N.Y. — Mark A. Lunsford, 30, of Norwich, was arrested on Sunday, Feb. 8, following a reported domestic incident in Plymouth, according to the New York State Police.

Lunsford faces the following charges:

Attempted assault in the second degree — Class E felony

Criminal mischief in the fourth degree — Misdemeanor

Troopers responded to a home on County Road 19 shortly after 1 p.m. on Sunday. An investigation revealed that Lunsford punched the victim and struck them in the head with a glass liquor bottle, causing it to break. The altercation was stopped by another person, after which Lunsford fled the scene.

Authorities located Lunsford at a residence in Norwich, where he was taken into custody. He was processed at the trooper barracks before being transported to the Chenango County Jail.
