PARKESBURG, PA — A 74-year-old woman has been charged in connection with an alleged assault incident that took place in April 2025 in Parkesburg.
Margaretta Lipscomb, a resident of Parkesburg, is facing charges stemming from an incident reported on April 17, 2025, in the 300 block of Strasburg Avenue, according to the Parkesburg Borough Police Department.
Following an investigation, police arrested Lipscomb on May 16, 2025, and filed assault and related offenses.
The case is scheduled to move forward with a preliminary hearing at District Court 15-3-07, though an exact date has not yet been disclosed.
Authorities emphasized that Lipscomb is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
