ALEXANDER CITY, Ala. – Two men, Marcus Rudolph, 31, of Hayneville, and Marvin Stovall, 45, of Montgomery, were arrested on multiple burglary and theft charges after allegedly stealing copper wire from buildings in Alexander City.
Details of the Crimes
Marvin Stovall allegedly broke into an Old Russell Mill building on Feb. 19, 2025, stealing over $2,500 worth of copper wire. He was also found with burglary tools, including headlamps, saws, drills, ladders, gloves, and electrical tape.
Marcus Rudolph was accused of burglarizing a Comer Street building on Jan. 19, 2025, while armed with a deadly weapon. He also allegedly stole copper wire during the break-in.

Four counts of second-degree burglary
Third-degree burglary
Two counts of first-degree theft of property
Third-degree theft of property
Two counts of fourth-degree theft of property
Drug paraphernalia possession (misdemeanor)
Both suspects are currently being held at the Tallapoosa County Jail.
