GOLDEN HORSESHOE, ON — Peel Regional Police have charged three suspects, including Marcus Moses, in a growing investigation into human trafficking spanning the Golden Horseshoe area.
The investigation began in October 2024 after two unrelated female victims came forward, alleging they were sexually trafficked across the region. Authorities say the suspects exerted control over the women’s lives while profiting financially.
Marcus Moses, 37, also known as King Marlow or Marlow, was first arrested in fall 2024 following search warrants that uncovered firearms, ammunition, and drugs. Initially charged with 26 offences including human trafficking, drug trafficking, and weapons possession, Moses now faces an additional 20 charges after more victims emerged, bringing his total to 46 offences.
Two women from Thorold, Ontario — Ashley Mullings, 31, and Tiana Beckford, 34 — have also been charged with multiple trafficking-related offences. Mullings faces charges including trafficking in persons, advertising sexual services, and receiving benefits from trafficking. Beckford is charged with trafficking in persons, drug trafficking, firearm possession, and related crimes.
Both women were released on bail under strict court conditions.
Police warn there may be more victims linked to Moses and his associates from 2014 to 2024 and encourage anyone with information to come forward.
