Marcus Dean Lewis, 39, James Weldon Bartley, 45, and Trina M. Whaley, 45, were arrested in connection with a series of thefts, the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) announced.
On April 22, RCSO deputies executed a search at 560 Centerville Church Road in Fairmont, North Carolina. During the search, law enforcement discovered stolen construction materials and illegal narcotics.
Marcus Lewis faces multiple charges, including possession with intent to sell and deliver MDMA (commonly known as ecstasy), possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a drug dwelling, possession of drug paraphernalia, and four counts each of receiving and possessing stolen property. He is currently being held without bond at the Robeson County Detention Center.
James Bartley and Trina Whaley were charged with three counts of breaking and entering, two counts of larceny after breaking and entering, four counts of felony conspiracy, larceny from a construction site, and misdemeanor larceny. Both are being held on a $101,000 secured bond.
The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division continues to investigate the case, with assistance from the Fairmont Police Department.
