Sundernagar police have solved a burglary case reported from Nildih village by arresting two men and detaining a minor involved in the crime.
The arrested accused have been identified as Manoj alias Tinku Tiu and Dhonu Hansda, both residents of Bagbera. The minor was produced before the competent authority and later shifted to a juvenile correctional facility as per legal provisions.
The case pertains to a theft at the residence of a local resident, Lagan, where burglars allegedly stole two mobile phones and a motorcycle. Following the complaint, police launched a detailed investigation, examining CCTV footage and activating their informer network.
Based on specific inputs, officers apprehended the accused. During interrogation, Manoj reportedly confessed to committing the burglary along with Dhonu and the minor. Acting on their disclosure, police successfully recovered the stolen motorcycle and mobile phones.
Police officials stated that the two adult accused have been remanded to judicial custody, while the minor has been placed under statutory care. Authorities further assured that patrolling and surprise raids will be intensified to prevent theft and snatching incidents in the region.
