Manoj Kumar, Others Arrested for Selling Drugs in Punjab

Police seize intoxicating tablets from three accused

The Nurmahal police have arrested Manoj Kumar, also known as Manu, a resident of Batura village, on charges of selling intoxicating tablets. Authorities recovered 65 tablets from his possession.

In separate operations, the Bilga police apprehended Arash Deep of Burj Hassan village with 21 tablets, while the Shahkot police arrested Gurpreet Ram of Kotla Suraj Mall village and seized 10 tablets.

The three accused have been booked under the relevant sections of the NDPS Act. Police have confirmed that further investigations are underway to identify any wider network involved in the distribution of these intoxicating substances.

Senior officers emphasized that such drug-related offenses are taken seriously, and the police are committed to curbing the sale and distribution of illicit drugs in the region.
