MANITOWOC, Wis. — Justin Zipperer, a 39-year-old school bus driver in Manitowoc, has been arrested on charges of possession of child sexual abuse material, the Manitowoc Police Department confirmed.
The arrest followed a cyber tip from the Wisconsin Department of Justice and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. On April 28, a Dropbox account was flagged after its owner tried to share suspected child sexual abuse material. Police later identified Zipperer as the account holder.
On June 3, authorities executed a search warrant at Zipperer’s residence, seizing electronic devices. During questioning, Zipperer admitted to possessing and viewing the illicit material.
He is currently held at Manitowoc County Jail facing possession of child pornography charges.
Given his role as a school bus driver for the Valders Area School District, the Manitowoc Police Department is actively investigating to identify any potential victims.
