Mangaluru Police Arrest 5 More in Ashraf Murder Case, Total Arrests Reach 20

Fresh arrests made in connection with the murder of Ashraf from Kerala

In a significant development, Mangaluru city police have arrested five more individuals in connection with the murder case registered at the rural police station, bringing the total number of arrests to 20. The fresh arrests follow the previous apprehension of 15 accused in the same case.

The newly arrested suspects have been identified as:

Yathiraj (Kaikamba)

Sachin (Vamanjoor)

Anil (Kulshekar)

Sushanth (Kudupu)

Adarsh (Kudupu)

The victim has been preliminarily identified as Ashraf, a resident of Pulpalli Village, Sultan Battery taluk, Wayanad district, Kerala. The victim’s family has been notified and is en route to Mangaluru for the in-person identification and completion of necessary formalities.

Police officials have confirmed that the investigation is ongoing, and efforts are being made to identify and apprehend additional suspects involved in the crime. Authorities are working to ensure that all perpetrators are brought to justice.
