HARRISBURG, PA — A man is facing a criminal homicide charge after a deadly stabbing Saturday night in Harrisburg.
According to police, officers were called around 9:30 p.m. to a residence in the 2100 block of Kensington Street for reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, they found a man suffering from a critical stab wound.
Officers provided immediate aid until emergency services arrived. Despite efforts by EMS to save the victim, he was pronounced dead shortly after.
Following an investigation, detectives identified the suspect as Anthony Long. Around 3 a.m. Sunday, Long was located and taken into custody without incident.
He has been formally charged with criminal homicide, police confirmed. The investigation is ongoing.
