Malissa Linder Arrested on Meth Possession Charges in Gibson Co.

Police say Linder resisted arrest during drug investigation

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – A drug investigation in the Patoka area led to the arrest of a 56-year-old woman on multiple charges, including meth possession and resisting law enforcement, according to the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say they responded to a residence in the 5400 block of North 200 West on Tuesday to follow up on a narcotics-related investigation. Upon arrival, authorities were granted access to the home by someone at the scene.

During their search, deputies reportedly encountered Malissa Linder, who became physically combative during the investigation. After a brief altercation, she was taken into custody.

Police say they discovered methamphetamines and drug paraphernalia in the home following Linder’s arrest.

Linder was booked into the Gibson County Jail and faces the following charges:

Possession of Methamphetamines

Possession of Paraphernalia

Resisting Law Enforcement

The investigation remains ongoing.
