Mahendra Rangari Arrested for House Burglary andVehicle Theft in Nagpur

Crime Branch nabbed Rangari for stealing cash, gold, bike, and valuables

The crime branch team successfully apprehended Mahendra Rangari, a 36-year-old resident of Hudkeshwar, for a series of thefts including house burglary and vehicle theft in Nagpur. Between August 15 and 19, Rangari broke into the home of Raju Atone, 58, located in Empress Mill Co-operative Society, stealing Rs 35,000 in cash, gold ornaments, and a watch worth Rs 1.07 lakh.

Following a complaint filed by Atone at Ajni police station, the crime branch conducted a detailed investigation using technical means and credible intelligence. Their efforts led to the identification and arrest of Rangari.

During interrogation, Rangari admitted to the burglary and other thefts, including stealing vehicles from railway premises. The police recovered a bike, two watches, earbuds, and Rs 2,000 in cash, with the total recovered items valued at Rs 76,520.

Rangari and the recovered items have been handed over to Ajni police for further inquiry.
