Mack Davis Sentenced to 14 Years for Meth Distribution

Conway man convicted of third-offense meth trafficking

by Sophia Bennett

CONWAY, SC (WMBF) — A Conway man, 52-year-old Mack Davis, has been sentenced to 14 years in prison after a jury convicted him of drug distribution charges, the Fifteenth Circuit Solicitor’s Office reported.

Davis was found guilty on Friday of third-offense distribution of methamphetamines following a four-day trial.

Because of the seriousness of the offense, Davis’ conviction is classified as a “strike” under South Carolina’s Three Strike Statute, meaning he faces harsher sentencing.

The solicitor’s office confirmed that Davis is not eligible for parole.
