Fargo Woman Faces Charges for Fentanyl-Related Death
FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) — Lydia Mallick, 26, of Fargo, has been charged with distribution of controlled substances resulting in death after her involvement in a fatal drug overdose earlier this year.
Court records reveal that Mallick is accused of supplying fentanyl pills to Adam Riter, 37, who was found dead in his home from illicit drug use in June 2023. These latest charges add to her previous drug trafficking charges filed in late 2022 and summer 2023.
In August 2023, Mallick was pulled over during a traffic stop where she admitted to selling fentanyl pills, including M30 pills, to Riter and another individual. In court documents, Mallick expressed that she was struggling financially and resorted to selling drugs to support herself and her son.
Mallick’s preliminary hearing or arraignment is scheduled for January 15.
