ODESSA, Texas — A social media drug operation led to the arrest of three suspects in Odessa on Monday afternoon, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by NewsWest 9.
Investigation & Arrest
The Odessa Police Department (OPD), while conducting a gang operation, was tipped off about a narcotics-selling Instagram profile. Officers posed as buyers, arranging to purchase 10 THC vapes and an ounce of marijuana from 23-year-old Lorenzo Uribe.
At 1:23 p.m., officers stopped a gray Jeep Cherokee, detaining Uribe, 25-year-old Lindsey Gomez, and 20-year-old Noah Mejia.

10 Fryed vape pens, each containing 2 grams of THC (totaling 20 grams)
One ounce of marijuana
Two used vape pens with less than a gram of THC
During questioning, Gomez admitted they were “giving Lorenzo a ride to hit a lick”—a term law enforcement associates with selling narcotics.
Charges & Bonds
All three suspects face charges of manufacturing and delivering a controlled substance and organized criminal activity.
Uribe & Gomez were additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Uribe & Gomez bond: $107,000 each
Mejia bond: $103,500
All three remain in custody at the Ector County Jail.
