Manipur police arrested Longjam Khaba Singh, a 35-year-old leader of the Meitei outfit Arambai Tenggol (AT), in connection with the murder of a differently abled person in Imphal West district. The arrest was confirmed on Monday, June 23, 2025.
Authorities said Longjam, a resident of Yumnam Huidrom Thiyam Leishangkhong, is the prime accused in the killing of Md Chesam Abdul Kadir from Paobitek Mayai Leikai. The police continue their investigation into the case.
