Logan Hauf and Devin Moellenberndt Charged in Nebraska Check Fraud Case

Hall County men face multiple charges for fake check scheme

Two men from Hall County, Nebraska, Logan Hauf, 21, and Devin Moellenberndt, have been charged in connection with a fake check fraud scheme, according to a report from Nebraska TV.

Hauf allegedly wrote a $5,000 fake check at a Cornerstone Bank branch and deposited it through an ATM. He then reportedly withdrew the funds from several ATMs in Grand Island. Charges against Hauf include forgery, theft by deception, and criminal conspiracy.

Moellenberndt, who was allegedly present with Hauf during the incident, faces charges of aiding and abetting forgery, criminal conspiracy, and theft by deception.

Authorities continue to investigate the case as it unfolds.
