Linda and Jennings Spears Among Three Charged in Logan County Drug Bust

Three individuals from Amherstdale, West Virginia, are facing serious drug charges following a significant seizure in Logan County. On Wednesday, West Virginia State Police arrested Linda Spears, Jennings Spears, and Rickey Browning during a raid that uncovered a substantial cache of illegal substances and cash.

Authorities reported seizing approximately 23 pounds of marijuana, 50 grams of fentanyl, five suboxone pills, and around $14,000 in cash during the operation. The arrests were made in the Amherstdale area after troopers conducted a drug investigation targeting narcotics distribution.

Linda and Jennings Spears were each charged with possession with intent to deliver fentanyl and suboxone. Rickey Browning was charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana.

The investigation is ongoing, and the suspects await further court proceedings as law enforcement continues its crackdown on drug activity in the region.
