Lincoln Kaehu Arrested for Multiple Burglaries in ‘Ele‘ele

Man Faces Several Charges Following Ace Hardware Burglary

‘ELE‘ELE, Hawai‘i (Island News) – Lincoln Kaehu, a 54-year-old resident of Puhi, was arrested on Thursday, April 24, 2025, in connection with a string of burglaries in the ‘Ele‘ele area. Kaehu is allegedly involved in the burglary of the ‘Ele‘ele Ace Hardware store that occurred on April 15, 2025.

Along with the burglary charge, Kaehu was arrested on multiple outstanding arrest warrants for other criminal activities. The charges against him include:

Theft in the second degree

Burglary in the second degree

Habitual property crime

Criminal property damage in the second degree

Fraudulent use of a credit card

Unauthorized possession of confidential personal information

Unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle in the first degree

Unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle in the first degree

Kaehu was able to post a partial bond of $25,000, with the court setting his bail at $300,000, leaving a balance of $275,000. The investigation is ongoing as authorities continue to probe his involvement in other crimes.
