NDLEA Nabs Suspect Attempting to Export Drugs to Angola

by Amelia Crawford

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested Levi Chidiebele Ubodoeze, an automobile spare parts dealer, for attempting to smuggle two kilograms of cocaine concealed in vehicle propellers to Angola.

Ubodoeze was apprehended barely three weeks after authorities launched a manhunt for him, according to Femi Babafemi, NDLEA’s Director of Media & Advocacy.

The arrest marks another significant crackdown on drug trafficking by the NDLEA as the agency continues its efforts to curb illegal drug exports from Nigeria. Further investigations into the case are ongoing.
