DARE COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) — A domestic dispute in Wanchese on Wednesday evening led to the arrest of two residents on a combination of drug and domestic violence charges, according to the Dare County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded around 8:45 p.m. to reports of a domestic altercation and found Lee Brock and Laura Currier, both 52, injured after physically fighting one another.
While investigating, deputies searched the home and found marijuana, cocaine, and multiple items of drug paraphernalia.

Resisting, delaying, or obstructing a public officer
Laura Currier
Felony Charges:
Possession of marijuana

Possession of marijuana paraphernalia
Domestic violence
Both were held for 48 hours following their arrest.
