Two Arrested After Metal Tube Used in 15-Person Lincoln Brawl
LINCOLN, Neb. — A man and a woman were arrested Friday following a large street fight involving around 15 people in south Lincoln, according to the Lincoln Police Department.
Officers responded just after 6 p.m. to the area near 13th and E Streets, where witnesses reported a man bleeding from the head and a woman seen wielding a broom.
When police arrived, they found 27-year-old Leandra Wells holding a metal tube and 33-year-old Chance Cave with a scalp injury.
Witnesses at the scene told officers that Cave had been seen kicking another individual during the altercation, and that Wells had struck Cave with the metal tube.
Cave was transported to a local hospital for treatment and later arrested for third-degree assault, police said. Wells was arrested for second-degree assault and taken into custody.
The incident remains under investigation.
