Largo Man Charged in Fatal Shooting of Clinton Resident

Damarion Jones, 21, arrested in connection with July 6 deadly shooting of J’len Livingston

LARGO, Md. — The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit has charged 21-year-old Damarion Jones of Largo in connection with the fatal shooting of 21-year-old J’len Livingston of Clinton.

On July 6, 2025, at approximately 1:00 a.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 7500 block of Allendale Drive. Livingston was transported to a hospital but died shortly after from his injuries.

Through investigative efforts, detectives identified Jones as the suspect and obtained an arrest warrant. Preliminary findings indicate the shooting occurred during a dispute, with both men known to each other.

Jones was located and arrested by the PGPD Fugitive Unit on Wednesday. He is currently held by the Department of Corrections on no-bond status and faces charges including first and second-degree murder, along with additional offenses.
