PORT HURON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Two individuals were arrested in separate narcotics operations conducted by the St. Clair County Drug Task Force on Wednesday, January 14.

Authorities first stopped a vehicle near the I-94 connector and 32nd Street, where 59-year-old Larenza Richey was driving without a valid license. During a search, a K9 unit alerted officers to drugs concealed in a child’s car seat.

Officers seized 26 grams of crack cocaine, 6 grams of powder cocaine, 8 grams of heroin, and a large amount of cash. Richey was booked and arraigned in 72nd District Court on multiple felony charges, including drug possession, maintaining a drug house, and using a computer to commit a crime, with bond set at $25,000.

Later that day, the task force executed a search warrant at a residence on the 1400 block of 27th Street, arresting 45-year-old Scott Shreeve. Investigators found 144 grams of methamphetamine, prescription pills, ketamine, drug paraphernalia, and a shotgun.

Shreeve was also taken into custody, facing felony drug possession charges, with bond set at $50,000.

The St. Clair County Drug Task Force emphasized that these operations are part of ongoing efforts to disrupt drug distribution in the area.
