LIVERMORE, Calif. (KRON) — Two San Lorenzo residents suspected of being part of an organized retail crime crew were arrested Wednesday at the San Francisco Premium Outlets, according to the Livermore Police Department.
Around 3 p.m., mall security notified police of a theft in progress. A Tommy Hilfiger employee flagged down officers and reported that two suspects had just exited the store with unpaid merchandise.
Police quickly detained Kymora Crocket, 22, and Azaria Walton, 24. Officers learned that Crocket had an active grand theft warrant out of Placer County.
Both women were arrested and booked into Santa Rita Jail. The stolen items were returned to Tommy Hilfiger, and additional thefts from Nike, American Eagle, Adidas, and Sephora were discovered—totaling $643 in merchandise, police said.
Livermore PD believes Crocket and Walton are affiliated with a larger organized retail theft operation.
