The Oxford Police Department responded to a report of a vehicle theft on February 20 at the 2700 block of South Lamar Boulevard. After reviewing video footage of the incident, officers were able to identify the suspect as 20-year-old Kylann Vance from Rienzi. An arrest warrant was issued for Vance on the charge of auto burglary.
On February 21, an OPD officer conducted a traffic stop and confirmed Vance’s identity. He was then arrested without incident and taken into custody. Vance was brought before a Municipal Court judge for his initial bond hearing.
