In a swift police operation, two men were arrested for allegedly stealing a motorcycle from Mauli Jagran. The complainant, Rajaram, reported that his bike was stolen from his residence on May 21.
The suspects, Kuldeep Singh (21), also known as Deepa, and Vijay (36), alias Jassa, both hailing from Ferozepur district in Punjab, were apprehended while riding the stolen motorcycle near Sukhna Choe at Makhan Majra in Mauli Jagran on Friday.
Following their arrest, the suspects were produced before the court, which remanded them to 14 days of judicial custody.
The police continue to investigate if the duo is linked to any other theft cases in the area.
