PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — January 20, 2026 — Kristopher Everett Roney, a Black male, was arrested Tuesday evening on allegations of credit card fraud and identity theft, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO). The arrest is recorded under Report No. 465472.

Authorities allege that Roney used a credit card to obtain goods multiple times without authorization, with each transaction exceeding $100. He is also accused of using or possessing the personal identification of another individual without consent.

PBSO officials noted that these financial crimes carry serious penalties under Florida law, including fines and potential imprisonment, and can have lasting consequences for both victims and offenders. Roney’s date of birth and prior criminal record were not released.
