Kokila Maniraju, Dina Arrested in Train Theft Case

Rs25 Lakh Gold Recovered at Secunderabad Station

Secunderabad: The Government Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Protection Force (RPF) have arrested two members of an interstate gang involved in thefts on long-distance trains. The operation took place at Secunderabad Railway Station on December 25, 2025.

The accused were identified as Kokila Maniraju alias Raju Selvam (39), a resident of Bengaluru, and S. Dina (27) from Vellore district in Tamil Nadu. They were apprehended around 8 a.m. near Gate No. 2 of the station while allegedly loitering with the intention of committing theft.

During the operation, police recovered gold ornaments weighing approximately 210 grams, valued at around Rs25 lakh, believed to be linked to multiple thefts carried out by the gang on long-distance trains.

Officials stated that the duo is part of an interstate theft network targeting passengers, and further investigation is underway to identify other members and trace additional stolen property.
