In two separate raids targeting drug peddlers, the District Anti-Narcotic Special Action Force (DANSAF) of the Kochi City police arrested two individuals and seized commercial quantities of MDMA and brown sugar from different locations in the city.
In one operation, a 35-year-old man named Ajmal, from Perumbavoor, was arrested with 19.96 grams of MDMA. The joint operation with the Kalamassery police led to his arrest at a hotel in Thrikkakara north village, where he was allegedly staying to sell the drug. The police said that Ajmal had other cases filed against him as well.
