Police in Banaskantha, Gujarat, have arrested four individuals linked to a high-profile Rs 45 lakh robbery at a silver factory in Mysore, Karnataka. The accused, from Deesa, Ahmedabad, and Karnataka, executed the heist before fleeing to Gujarat.
On the night of July 25, the robbers looted 30 kilograms of silver valued at Rs 45 lakh from the Mysore factory. Following the incident, Mysore police launched an investigation and soon traced the suspects to Deesa taluka in Banaskantha district.
In response, Mysore police coordinated with Banaskantha authorities, leading to the formation of a joint team by Palanpur police. This team successfully apprehended the accused in Deesa.
The prime accused, Kishore Kantilal Panchal, has been identified as the mastermind behind the robbery. Alongside him, Ravi Vinodbhai Thakor from Morena district, now residing in Ahmedabad’s Meghaninagar, was involved in executing the theft. The other two arrested are Chirag Bhemaji Parmar of Deesa and Laxminarayan Nandubhai Soni, owner of Varun Jewelers in Deesa.
Police reports reveal that on the night of the crime, Kishore Panchal and Chirag Parmar arrived at the Mysore factory in a car, overpowered the security guards at gunpoint, tied them up, and stole 30 kg of silver before fleeing the scene.
